Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Updated: Apr 3, 2020

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the aim is to break the silence around sexual assault. The Central Australian Health Service's Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is planning a number of events throughout April 2017, in collaboration with other stakeholders.

NSVRC Hosts 19th Annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month to Shine a Light on Consent and Share Support for Survivors Online Supporters are invited to participate on social media and share a photo wearing teal on the Day of Action on April 7th.

Pictured, myself last year partaking in the social media action. This year, with the overwhelming sex crimes committed against myself exposed in my Historical Biography UGLY HEROS - The Price of Unlawful Enforcement, I will not engage in social media action. Choosing to supporting the 7th of April with a teal ribbon and general public appearances sporting support for victims like myself during the month of April.

Love and Best wishes regarding important awareness raised in April.
